About Stephanie
Stephanie is an experienced developmental expert with a passion for collaborating with caregivers and being part of their team to support their child. She understands the value caregivers provide when they share their expertise and insights about their child, and she knows progress happens most effectively and sustainably when families and experts work together. She takes a strengths-based, evidence-driven approach to parent and caregiver coaching.
She earned her master's degree in occupational therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina and has spent her career supporting children and families in mental health and outpatient settings. She is a passionate learner with advanced-level practitioner certification in DIR Floortime, STAR Institute Advanced Mentored Clinician in Sensory Processing Disorder, Sensory Integration certification through the Spiral Foundation, Ayres' Sensory Integration Theory, Assessment, and Treatment through the University of Southern California, and the Infant-Parent Mental Health Specialist Fellowship Program through UC Davis.
She lives in Chicago and enjoys good coffee, travel, family time, and her pugs, Cheez Whiz and Sloppy Joe.
Outside of helping families
Other interests.
Outside of her work, Stephanie is devoted to traveling, mastering her pizza recipe, good coffee, and her pugs. She shares her love of cooking with others, and her banana bread has many fans. On weekends, she explores farmers' markets, gets outside, and stays active. She considers herself a kid at heart and brings that playfulness to her work with families.
Kinspire allows me to build relationships with caregivers more effectively so we can learn from each other and better support their child in a way that feels relevant, practical, and supportive for each unique family. No child is the same and no family is the same, and this process allows that deeper connection and individualized support.
