About Crystal
Crystal Turner — affectionately known as Mrs. Crystal to the families she supports — is a developmental expert with over 20 years of experience. Her goal is to coach parents, caregivers, and educators in making functional gains in life skills when guiding children and young adults in the ADHD, neurodiverse, gifted and talented (GT), and autistic communities.
She has worked in various settings throughout her career, starting in an inpatient rehab hospital and assisting in their Vision clinic. She subsequently transitioned into management for a few years. For the past 14 years, she has focused on pediatrics — working in outpatient and home health settings, an ABA clinic, and school-based settings. Additionally, she conducts teacher and parent trainings on executive functioning, ADHD, Autism, GT, twice exceptionality, and neurodivergence.
She currently serves on the Board for StandUpLD, a nonprofit support network for parents and educators seeking resources to support and empower children with learning differences.
Outside of helping families
Other interests.
Crystal and her husband have three fun and adventurous teenage boys. They love to travel, create adventures, and add value and kindness wherever they go. As a teenage boy mom, modifying life's daily activities and teaching her sons to become thriving adults is a skill set she continues to develop every day.
