Christy Jo Edgerle

Christy Jo earned her master's degree in occupational therapy at Mount Mary University and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. She is a dedicated lifelong learner with a passion for supporting children and families. She has experience in a variety of settings, particularly in an outpatient clinic with children of all ages and abilities.

Over the years, she has pursued advanced training in sensory processing (interoception), a modern approach to self-regulation, primitive reflexes and reflex integration, the Get Permission approach to feeding and starting solids, growth mindset, mental health and trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, strengths-based approaches to autism, and neurodiversity-affirming training.

Throughout her career, she has developed a deep appreciation for the alliance created through parent and child collaboration. Her personal experience with parenthood has also been a profound source of inspiration. Her mission is to offer guidance that empowers families to navigate areas with room for growth, explore strategies to meet their goals, and help the whole family thrive.
