Get to know me

I’m a compassionate-minded & seasoned OT, a dedicated student when it comes to nervous systems and body cues, and I’m deeply interested in the quiet power of guiding others to find their strengths.

A Colorado Mama, 80’s music aficionado, a clinician with a passion for sensory and somatic perspectives, my work is devoted to providing a sense of safety, fostering regulation and trust through therapeutic relationships, and nurturing joy within families and their children.

I’ve been practicing as an Occupational Therapist for over 20+ years, specializing in pediatrics after obtaining a B.S. from Colorado State University along with completing advanced trainings in Sensory Processing (SIPT #4070), Somatic Experiencing (SEP/ Intermediate Level Completion), Integrated Listening Systems (Focus & SSP Training), DIR/Floortime Courses, Certified Fitter Orthotics Certification (CFO/#CFo05667) plus many others to support my families best in a variety of settings including homes, clinics, schools, early intervention & private practice.

My heart lies in facilitating family-centered treatment with the belief that the family is a child’s primary source of strength and support, for two key reasons. First, the secure bonds formed in early relationships lay the neurological foundation for critical areas of development, including vision, emotional processing, language, and motor skills. Second, early attachment experiences shape essential capacities such as self-regulation, self-awareness, and self-esteem—abilities that form the core of lifelong mental and emotional well-being.

In addition to being a clinician, I also enjoy my role as a mentor. I provide support to therapists at the outset of their careers as well as education to other professionals seeking to understand more about the body in relation to our sensory experiences and the effects trauma has on development.

I love my chosen profession of OT! I am grateful for the experiences and wisdom I have been gifted from families, children and colleagues I have met along the way.
