Get to know me

Hi! I’m a licensed occupational therapist with over 20 years of experience working with children and their families—and I truly feel lucky to do what I love every day. I earned my doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy and have spent most of my career focusing on pediatrics and sensory processing.

Throughout the years, I’ve had the chance to work in a variety of settings including sensory clinics, private and public schools, early intervention, teletherapy, home visits, and as an evaluation specialist. I’ve also completed advanced training in sensory processing, handwriting, fine motor/visual motor development, and auditory interventions.

Building strong, supportive relationships with families is at the heart of my approach. I believe that when therapists and families work closely together, amazing things can happen for kids.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I was born and raised in Maryland, but we recently moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina—so we’re currently having fun exploring our new home and all it has to offer!

Other Interests

Outside of work, I stay busy (and happy!) spending time with my husband and our three wonderful kids. I love trying out new healthy recipes—though some are definitely more successful than others! Gardening is my go-to for a little outdoor peace, and I always enjoy catching up with friends, crafting something creative, or planning our next family adventure. Whether we're exploring new places or just making a mess with glitter at the kitchen table, I’m all about finding joy in the everyday.

"When therapists and families work together, it’s not just the child who thrives—it’s the whole family. Collaboration turns challenges into victories, and everyday moments into meaningful growth."
