Get to know me
I’m a licensed pediatric occupational therapist with experience in many different settings over seven years of practice. My career has taken me through clinics, public and specialized schools, virtual care, and home visits. I am most passionate about supporting families to thrive in their day to day lives. While working in schools and clinics, I found that there were barriers to providing guidance to caregivers. This led me to home, community and virtual visits that focused on caregiver education. I truly believe that occupational therapy has such a unique lens to help caregivers gain further insight into their child and relationship. I am excited to partner with Kinspire families and build upon the strengths of your family together with such a forward thinking model that Kinspire offers.
How would you describe your approach to working with families?
I value a collaborative approach when working with families. I am deeply interested in supporting families strengthen their connection and flourish in their natural environment. All people (including children) require three basic needs- safety, connection and regulation. I focus on education and strategies that support these three basic needs for caregivers and children.
Other Interests
When I'm not working, you can usually find me spending quality time with my loving family, planning my next travel adventure, or taking care of my home. I love being outdoors- whether it's hiking, biking, swimming, or playing pickleball. I'm always up for discovering hidden gems in my community- I know where all the town libraries are located by my home.
