Get to know me

I’m Meredith Moon, OTR/L, MOT, a pediatric occupational therapist with experience in both school-based and home health settings. I’m passionate about helping children develop the skills they need to thrive in their everyday lives, and I approach my work with both professional knowledge and personal understanding.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and my Master of Science in Occupational Therapy, but my path into this field began at home. After my son was diagnosed with autism, I felt a deep calling to support other families navigating similar challenges. That experience gave me a unique perspective—I’ve sat on both sides of the table, and I truly understand how overwhelming and emotional this journey can be for parents.

In my practice, I focus on building strong, collaborative relationships with families. I believe in meeting each child where they are and working together to create practical, meaningful goals. Whether I’m helping a child build fine motor skills, improve sensory regulation, or gain confidence in their daily routines, I bring empathy, patience, and creativity to every session.

Other Interests

Outside of work, I love dancing, exploring music, and hiking with my son and our new puppy. These personal passions bring joy and balance to my life—and often inspire playful and engaging ways to connect with the kids I work with.

"Kinspire offers me the opportunity to connect with families and support them in the setting that is most beneficial, their own homes. Nothing is more gratifying then seeing a family experience joy where there used to be struggles."
