Get to know me

Hello, Kinspire families! I'm Lauren, originally hailing from Tennessee and now proudly calling sunny Florida my home. With over 15 years of experience in occupational therapy, I've had the privilege of working in various pediatric outpatient clinics and providing therapy in children's natural environments.

From the very start of my career, sensory processing has been a driving passion for me. I owe much of my knowledge in this area to an exceptional mentor who instilled in me the foundational understanding of processing skills and our intricate nervous systems. Educating families, a gift from my mentor, has also become a deep-rooted passion. I thoroughly enjoy collaborating with families, tackling challenges, and generating creative solutions. Whether it's crafting, inventing imaginative play ideas, or designing obstacle courses, I'm always up for a creative adventure.

I take immense pride in the relationships I build with families like yours. Over the course of my career, I've had the privilege of working with diverse facilities and families, which has driven me to pursue ongoing learning opportunities to meet their unique needs and satisfy my own curiosities. My training includes areas such as massage, handwriting, feeding, reflex integration, physical disabilities, and a range of other specializations to address fine, gross, and visual motor concerns.

Other Interests

Outside of work, I adore spending time with my own family. My kids have an absolute blast at playgrounds and revel in our karaoke dance parties! Personally, I have a deep-seated passion for traveling and am perpetually on the lookout for my next destination. I also find immense enjoyment in both watching and playing sports, nurturing my creative side, relishing moments by the water, and cherishing quality time with my family and friends.
