Get to know me

I am a licensed pediatric occupational therapist with over 20 years of experience, dedicated to helping children reach their full potential. My expertise spans working with children from birth to 21 years in diverse settings including: inpatient children’s hospitals, outpatient clinics, schools, and natural environments.

Throughout my career, I have been a member of specialized teams focusing on developmental delays, feeding disorders, neuromuscular and neurodiverse conditions, medically fragile populations, orthopedic conditions, and sensory processing disorders delivering holistic, evidence-based interventions with an emphasis on caregiver training and coaching. I am deeply passionate about collaborating with families and caregivers, sharing knowledge, and collaborating strategies to support their unique priorities and goals.

My mission is to empower families to confidently support their child’s development and progress within their natural environments, fostering meaningful growth and lasting success.

How did your work come to focus on conditions treated by Kinspire clinicians, like ADHD, Autism, and SPD?

My work naturally evolved to highlight conditions like feeding support, neuromuscular conditions, early intervention, Autism, and Sensory Processing Disorder through years of closely observing how these diagnoses uniquely impact a child’s daily routines, relationships, and regulation. I noticed an ongoing increased need for support in these areas as prevalences only continue to grow. Partnering with families to create practical, strengths-based strategies has been central to my approach. The mission of Kinspire aligns beautifully with my commitment to meeting children and families where they are and providing continuous and personalized supports and guidance for all.

How would you describe your approach to working with families?

My approach to working with families is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in mutual respect. I believe parents are the experts on their child, and my role is to support, educate, and empower them with tools that are both evidence-based and realistic for their daily lives. I prioritize open communication and co-creating strategies that reflect each family’s unique values, routines, and goals. Building strong, trusting relationships allows us to make meaningful and lasting progress together.
