Every parent wants to set their child up for success. But when you’re juggling busy schedules, navigating new classrooms, or worrying whether your child’s needs will be understood, the start of the school year can feel overwhelming. That’s why we created the All About Me Profile—a simple, stress-reducing tool that helps parents communicate their child’s strengths, needs, and strategies directly to teachers and school staff. By sharing this one-page profile, you’re giving your child’s team a clear, supportive roadmap to success from day one.

Created by Pediatric Occupational Therapists

This profile was developed in collaboration with Kinspire’s licensed pediatric occupational therapists, who understand firsthand what children need to feel calm, confident, and capable in the classroom. The sections are designed to highlight what’s most important for educators to know—while keeping the focus on your child’s unique strengths.

What’s Inside the All About Me Profile

The profile covers the most important areas your child’s educators need to know:

• Meet Me – Name, age, and key members of your child’s care team.

• My Interests – Activities and topics that motivate your child.

• You’ll See Me Shine When… – The conditions where your child thrives.

• Some of My Strengths Are… – Skills and qualities that set your child apart.

• Things That Might Be Tricky – Challenges your child may face.

• Tools & Strategies – Supports that help your child stay calm, focused, and successful.

• Communication Tips – The best ways for staff to connect with your child.

• My Goals or Hopes for This Year – Specific milestones or personal achievements your child is working toward.

Instructions:
