Get to know me

Hi, I am a licensed pediatric occupational therapist (OT) licensed in North Carolina and Florida. I have 4 years of experience treating and working with families and children in a variety of settings. My OT journey currently involves work in academia, and my desire to continue working with families brought me to Kinspire. I have enjoyed working in schools, outpatient clinics, pediatric skilled nursing facilities, and early intervention.OT was a career change later in life. Previously, I was a teacher, but when I learned about OT, I fell in love with it. I knew it was for me, and a year later, I was in school pursuing it. My passion lies in finding solutions and considering the 360-degree viewpoint of the child and family. My strengths lie in helping families overcome challenges in feeding, sensory issues, fine motor skills, cognition, visual-motor coordination, executive functioning, and promoting independence in daily activities. I take a holistic approach and have been a massage therapist since 2001.

Other Interests

Outside of work, I like spending time with my daughter, enjoying nature, music, hot yoga, traveling and cooking. I have a golden doodle named Luna who loves to pick up sticks and play. I am becoming a volunteer guardian at litem to help advocate for kids in need.
